Terms and privacy
Plain terms for using Sub 'Em!.
These terms explain the basics of using Sub 'Em!, buying add-ons, and how purchase email addresses are handled. They are intentionally plain-language and may be updated as the product grows.
Last updated: 24 June 20261. What Sub 'Em! is
Sub 'Em! is a sideline tool for coaches and teams. It helps track player rotations, substitution status, match details, season minutes, and related team setup information.
It is a planning and record-keeping tool. Coaches, managers, clubs, and other users remain responsible for match-day decisions, player safety, competition rules, and local policies.
2. Local app data
Sub 'Em! does not provide user accounts. Team, player, match, sport, and backup data created inside the app is intended to stay on the user's own device or browser storage.
We do not intentionally store your team lists, player names, match records, or exported backups on our servers. You control backup, import, and sharing actions. If you export, import, send, or share a backup file or setup link, you are responsible for where that file or link goes and who can access it.
3. Purchase email addresses
Because Sub 'Em! has no user accounts, an email address is used to support paid add-ons. We store purchase email addresses so we can help restore previously purchased add-ons and send successful purchase or restore information.
Stripe processes payments. We do not store full card numbers in Sub 'Em!. Stripe may send receipts and apply its own payment processing terms.
4. Add-ons and club access
Individual add-ons are one-off purchases unless a checkout page says otherwise. A Pro purchase unlocks the add-ons described at the time of purchase. Club or organization access is arranged separately and may include setup links, preloaded sport or match profile details, and managed add-on access for participating coaches.
If an add-on is unavailable because of a payment, restore, or setup problem, contact us and include the purchase email address so we can investigate.
5. Backups and sharing
Sub 'Em! provides tools for backup and sharing, but the user decides when to use those tools. Treat exported backup files and shared setup links as sensitive if they contain team or player information.
Keep your own backups if the data matters to you. Browser storage can be cleared by device, browser, privacy, or operating system settings.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Sub 'Em! to break the law, interfere with the service, abuse checkout or restore flows, or share another person's data without appropriate permission.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Sub 'Em! useful and available, but the service is provided as-is. Features, prices, add-ons, and club access options may change over time.
8. Contact
For purchase restores, club access, terms questions, or support, email hello@subem.app.
